Greenwald prefers to discuss

the progress that's been made in
breaking barriers and changing
attitudes. "Look what's going on
around us — recognition that
women can do things we never
allowed them to try to do in
years past." And having a little
fun with the notion of
minorities' advancements, he
notes, "And what about Ita-
lians?"
Not only have Italians done
well at Chrysler, but the com-
pany boasts two other Jewish
senior executives besides
Greenwald. Frederick Zucker-
man was recruited by Iacocca
and Greenwald in 1979 as assis-
tant controller. Since 1981, Zuc-
kerman has been vice president
and treasurer, responsible for all
of Chrysler's relationships with
commercial banks worldwide,
for the company's pension fund,
and for the establishment of
