The Greater Detroit Chapter of
Hadassah will hold its yearly
election and installation of offi-
cers at a luncheon on June 4 at
11:30 a.m. at Temple Beth El.
The program will feature Bar-
bara Woolf, pianist; Anna Speck,
lyric soprano; and Frank Hull,
baritone. The group, known as
Opus III, will present "Celebrate
With Song."

Women Hear Educator
Machon L'Torah will present
Mrs. Esther Shkop, lecturer and
educator, at its Conference on the
Jewish Woman, entitled "Woman
to Woman: Shattering the Or-
thodox Myth" at 7 p.m. June 2 at
the Jimmy Prentis Morris Branch
of the Jewish Community Center.
Mrs. Shkop, a tenth generation
Sabra, was educated in both Israel
and the United States. She com-
pleted her undergraduate degree
in America and her master's de-
gree in Israel. She is currently a
doctoral candidate at the Univer-
sity of Illinois in Chicago.
She has been involved with
adult Jewish education for the
last decade.
Mrs. Shkop also has lectured
extensively throughout the
United States.
The conference will include
workshops, including Anyone for
Singles, The Art of Loving and
The Jewish Woman of Tomorrow.
There is a fee, and refreshments
