Entertainer Joey Russell will
be guest speaker at the B'nai
B'rith Oakland Century Lodge
dinner on behalf of State of Israel
Bonds, to be held- 6 p.m. June 2 at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
The annual event for Israel
Bonds will see dinner honoree
Harold S. Jaffa of Southfield,' a
long-time leader in B'nai B'rith
and other Jewish communal
organizations, presented with the
State of Israel's Freedom Award.
Dinner co-chairmen are Ralph
Miller, Nate Rubenstein, David
Jaffa and Jonathan Jaffa. Lodge
President is Hyman Zalenko.
Russell is a founding member of
the Israel Bonds Ambassador's
Society of Trustees and a longtime
Israel Bond chairman in southern
Connecticut, where he resides. He
has participated in more than a
dozen Bond missons to Israel.
In the entertainment world,
Russell has performed in major
night clubs and hotels throughout
the country.

B'nai B'rtih Hosts
Golf Classic III

Ralph Miller has been named
chairman of the B'nai B'rith Golf
Classic III, slated for June 24 at
Knollwood Country Club.
Patrons contributing $250 will
have complete use of the
Knollwood Country Club which
includes breakfast, lunch, dinner
at the awards banquet, golf carts,
locker room facilities, valet park-
ing, all gratuities, gifts/prizes and
cocktails all day.
Special prizes will be awarded
for the first hole in one on the
sixth hole, on the 15th hole, and
on the 17th hole.
The B'nai B'rith Golf Classic III
is hosted by the B'nai B'rith
Foundation. Proceeds will benefit
