The musical troups Safam will
entertain at the Fourth Annual
Freedom Concert for Soviet Jewry
in memory of Al M. Rosenberg on
June 3 at 8 p.m. at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek.
All proceeds will benefit the ad-
vocacy efforts of the Jewish Com-
munity Council's Detroit Soviet
Jewry Committee.
A six-man musical group from
Boston, Safam has been at the

forefront of the renaissance in
Jewish music in America since
their beginning in 1974.
Safam (which means mous-
tache in Hebrew) has touched lis-
teners with such original hits as
Jerusalem, Judah Macabbee,
World of Our Fathers and Yamit.
