Summer Latch Key
Program At Center
The Jewish Center will inaugu-
rate a summer latch key program
this summer. A two-hour exten-
sion of day camp is available for
all enrolled campers.
This program has been de-
signed for campers to be super-
vised after the camp day, from 4 to
6 p.m.
Located at the Camp Ruth II
facility, the two-hours will in-
clude a snack and several options,
including open swimming, arts
and crafts, a daily movie video
feature and open sports play time.
Interested Day Campers may
enroll by the session, the week, or
per day. Weekly and daily regis-
tration must be arranged at least
three working days prior to the
necessary date. Call Lisa Simon,
661-1000, ext. 251, for informa-
tion and application.
The day camp announced,
meanwhile, that Debbie Klein,
director of the senior adult choir,
the Melodears, will be the camp
music specialist.
She will teach eight to ten new
songs in Hebrew and English each
week. Ms. Klein plays piano and
guitar and has sung in choirs.
Center Toastmasters
Group Chartered
Center Toastmasters will have
their charter dinner on June 4 at 7
p.m. at the main Jewish Commu-
nity Center. The dinner will mark
the official installation of officers
and certification by Toastmasters
International.
Chris Hiller, representing the
Toastmasters International
Organization, will be a dinner
guest.
This meeting is open to prospec-
tive members.
There is a charge for the dinner.
For information or for reserva-
tions, call the Center, 661-1000
ext. 219; or Larry Bissinger, Cen-
ter Toastmaster chairman, 258-
4180.
