Carole Lynn Jonas of South-
field takes pride in announcing

Michele Rhonda Jonas, of Wixom,
to Michael Robert Rosen of Royal
Oak, son of Sylvia and Gerald
Rosen of Southfield. Michele also
is the daughter of the late Mr. J.
Walter Jonas.
Michele is a SOuthfield-
Lathrup High School graduate,
and is presently employed by
Goodell-Grivas, Inc., doing re-
search.
Michael has earned a
B.S.B.A./marketing degree from
Wayne State University. He is
presently attending Central
Michigan University, where he is
working on a master's degree in
business, and employed by Nara-
gon Business Machines.,
A September wedding is
planned.

Carol of Colchester, Vt., to Brian
J. Elkins of Ogden, Utah, the son
of Dr. and Mrs. Edmund J. Elkins

Miss King earned a B.S. degree
at Keene State College and a mas-
ter's degree in education at the
University of Vermont.
Her fiance earned a B.S. degree
in math at U-V.
A July wedding in Vermont is

planned.

JCCouncil Holds
Delegate Assembly

Edward J. Derwinsky, coun-
selor to U.S. Secretary of State
George P. Shultz, is the keynote
speaker for the Jewish Commu-
nity Council's year-end delegate
assembly to be held Thursday at 8
p.m. at Adat Shalom Synagogue.
Sister Carol Rittner will be
honored for her efforts on behalf of
Holocaust education.
A former U.S. Representative
froni Illinois, Derwinski was a
member of the House Committee
on Foreign Affairs. He served as
U.S. Congressional Representa-
tive on the Council of the Inter-
parliamentary Union.
Council President David
Lebenbom will preside. The
agenda also includes Council's
election of officers and members of
the executive committee and pre-
sentation of the Walter E. Klein
Youth Award.
Council's Delegate Assembly is
free of charge and open to the
entire Jewish community.

Israel Bond Dinner
Date Is Change

The date of the Cong. eth Ab-
raham Hillel Moses. tribute
dinner on behalf of the State of
Israel Bonds, honoring Dr. Shel-
don and Sybil Mintz, has been
