Myron Milgrom

Myron L. Milgrom was elected
president of Cong. Shaarey Zedek
at the synagogue's 124th annual
meeting.
In addition to the numerous
synagogue board positions and
chairmanships he has held, Mil-
grom has also served as an officer
of the congregation for the past
eight years, as president of the
men's club, and as president of the
Michigan Region of the United
Synagogue of America.
In the Jewish community, he is
a member of the board of gover-
nors of the Jewish Welfare Feder-
ation, a member of the board of
the Hebrew Benevolent Society,
president of Hillel Day School
Scholarship. Foundation, a
member of Morganthau Lodge of
B'nai B'rith and a recipient of the
Golden Menorah Award from that
organization.
Milgrom is involved in numer-
ous business and civic organiza-
tions, including the Economic
Club of Detroit, the Detroit Real
Estate Board, the Probus Club of
Detroit and Michigan Cancer
Foundation.
Born in Detroit, Milgrom was
graduated from the University of
Michigan with a degree in chemi-
cal engineering.
Other officers are: Marvin
Fleischman and Irving Laker,
vice-presidents; Yale Levin, trea-
surer; and Wallace M. Handler,
Secretary. Elected to the board of
trustees were: Lawrence Jackier,
Majorie Saulson, Dr. Floyd Tukel
and Melvin Wallace.

Elects Officers

Gerald Wigod was elected
president of Temple Kol Ami at
the congregation's recent annual
meeting.
Elected with him were: An-
thony Lee, Stephen Raitt and
Claire Phillips, vice presidents;
Sidney Frank, secretary; and
Charles Canvasser, treasurer.
Elected to the board of trustees
were: Judy Nadelberg, Phyllis
Strome, Gary Snyder, Seymour
