Ann and Joseph Shewach of
Southfield were honored on their
50th wedding anniversary March
10 at a luncheon at Jacques Res-
taurant.
The party was given by their
children, Judith and Marvin Rich;
Barbara and Eugene Zweig; and
Linda and Michael Shewach. The
senior Shewachs have seven
grandchildren.
On Jan. 27, 1935, the Shewachs
were married at the Book Cadillac
Hotel in Detroit. Shewach
founded Shewach Brothers
Wholesale Grocery in the Eastern
Market in 1929. He is a lifetime
member of the Mosaic Lodge of
the Masonic Order, and has been a
member of B'nai B'rith for 50
years.
Both are long-time members of
Cong. Shaarey Zedek.

Bloomfield will celebrate their
50th wedding anniversary on
Sunday.
The Josephs' children are Mrs.
Gayle Remer and • Mrs. Marcia
Bayer, both of Florida, and Arnold
Joseph of Detroit. The senior
Josephs have four grandsons,
Aaron Remer, Jayson Remer,
Adam Bayer and Mitchell Bayer.
The couple was treated to a
weekend at the Breakers Hotel in
Palm Beach, Fla., and an evening
at the Burt Reynolds Dinner The-
ater in Jupiter, Fla.
Upon their return to Detroit,
the couple will be tendered a party
at The Place. The party will be
given by relatives, Mr. and Mrs.
Josepch (Diana) Steiner of Los
Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Louis (He-
len) Grabow, Mr. and Mrs. Louis
(Sophie) Eisenberg and Mr. and
Mrs. Morris (Helen) Jacobs, and
by friends, "The Oddie Bunch,"
Pauline and Ruby Samson, Sarah
and Irving Pitt, Buddi Rocklin,
Tillie and Joe Greenberg, Gertie
