The Women's Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation will
hold its annual Spring Phonogift
Telethon this weekend.
Reaching out to all Women's
Division, Business and Profes-
sional Women and Young Adult
Division contributors who haven't
yet made their 1985 Campaigri
pledge, volunteers will be looking
forward to a first-time-ever
Women's Division Campaign goal
of more than $3 million.
Calls will go out on Sunday
from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Monday
from 4 to 8 p.m.
Judith Naftaly is chairman of
the Spring Phonogift; Beverly
Leutcher is associate chairman.
Those interested in volunteer-
ing their time can call the

Group" breakfast meetings, spon-
sored by the Social Awareness
Committee of the Jewish Welfare
Federation Women's Division.
The meeting, 8:30 a.m. Monday

Council of Jewish Women, 30233
Southfield Rd., is the last in the
series and will focus on "Trouble
Spots in South AFrica."
A native South African, Ms.
Katz was director of public speak-
ing at University of Witwater-
srand in Johannesburg, the only
multi-racial university in South
Africa.
Carolyn Greenberg is chairman
of the Social Awareness Commit-
tee. Helen Shevin and Pam Op-
perer are the associate chairmen.
