In the pre-school camp, 3 and 4-year-olds have the choice of three or five half days per week. Kindergarten campers have the option of three or five half days or five full days. There are full day camps for children in kindergarten through sixth grade, where they partici- pate in outdoor games, swim- ming, nature, arts and crafts and Judaica. A special events calen- dar features cookouts, a Mac- cabiad and a carnival. Block specialty programs are offered to fifth through ninth graders. Campers design their own activities. They can choose from morning blocks of tennis, gymnastic, performing arts, dance and sports. The JCC also has two travel programs, Safari, for fifth and sixth graders, which features daily adventure trips to local points of interest. The wave pool, rollerskating, horseback riding and movies are a few of the activi- ties. Teen Caravan is the same type of program as Safari except it is designed for seventh through tenth graders. Campers also go on an extended three-day, two-night trip each session to places such as Kings Island or Toronto.
