Book Review Slated
For Senior Adults

The senior adult department of
the Jewish Center will present a
book review at II a.m. Tuesday in
the library of the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Branch.
Frances Weinberg will review
Inside, Outside by Herman Wouk.
All seniors are invited free of
charge.
A program of Yiddish short
stories for seniors will take place
at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the JPM
library. All senior adults are in-
vited free of charge.
Rabbi Joseph Gutmann will
give a lecture on topics of Jewish
interest at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the
JPM branch assembly hall. Fol-
lowing the talk the films, Bus to
Sinai and Voices of Israel will be
shown. All are invited free of
charge.
The alterations class will con-
tinue at 1 p.m. Thursday in room 2
of the Morris Branch.
The Friday lecture series will
feature a program on dealing with
HMOs at 1 p.m. May 10 in the
JPM assembly hall.
The senior adult program at the
Morris Branch has received a
grant from Gardens for All, the
National Association for Garden-
ing.
With the grant, the program
has prepared ten garden areas at
the branch to be planted.

KOSHER MEAT MARKET
IS FOR SALE

The senior adult programs at
the main Jewish Community
Center and the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Branch and the children
from the Center's nursery school
will join for a Lag b'Omer picnic
Thursday at the main center.
A bus will leave the branch at
11 a.m. There is a nominal charge,
and dessert and beverages will be
served. Participants are re-
quested to bring their own
lunches.
The picnic will be highlighted
by a dance performance by Shel-
ley Jackier.

Judy Blustein at the branch,
