Center Senior Adults
To Hear Yiddish Stories

The Jewish Community Center
senior adults department will
continue its library program at
12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the library
of the Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch of the. Center.
Aida Ritten, an actress in the
Yiddish theater in Chile, and
Charles Driker, president of the
JPM Culture Club, will read short
stories in Yiddish.
All senior adults are invited
free of charge.
A forum entitled "Why Jewish
Villages in Judea and Samaria?"
will be presented at 1 p.m. Tues-
day in the assembly hall of the
Morris Branch.
Hymie Cutler will present the
slide program. Admission is free,
and all senior adults are invited.
A movie series for senior adults
is held at 2 p.m. Tuesdays in the
assembly hall of the Morris
Branch. Tuesday's films will be
Jerusalem From Below and they
Came to Stay.
Admission is free,,and all senior
adults are invited.
A lecture on Mediare will take
place at 1 p.m. May 3 h1=-Jaffe Hall
of the Morris Branch. All seniors
are invited free of charge. The

program is supported by a grant
from Area Agency on Aging, 1-B.
The youth choir of Temple
Emanu-El, under the direction of
Euni Rose, will entertain at 2 p.m.
May 5 in the Morris Branch as-
sembly hall. The film, The Vag-
abond Love, will be shown. All
senior adults are invited free of
charge.

Active Adults Hear
Nutrition Lecture

The Jewish Center's Active
Adults group will hear a talk on
"Nutrition and Exercise" by the
Blue Two Express at noon Mon-
day at the main Jewish Center,
room 239.
Buffet luncheon will be served
at noon. Reservations are re-
quired. For reservations, call De-
bbie Klein or Judy Samson, 661-
1000, ext. 235. There is a nominal
fee.
Harriet Berg and the Festival
Dancers will present excerpts
from "A Celebration of Jewish
Dance" following a noon luncheon
Thursday in room 239 of the main
Center.
