The first Michigan perform-
ance of Schoenberg's Kol Nidre
for Speaker, Chorus and Or-
chestra will be presented at 7:30
p.m. Sunday at Temple Beth
El's annual music festival in the
temple.
The evening's soloists will be
baritone Leslie Guinn and John
Neville, director-designate,
Stratford Festival, who will be
the narrator.
Members of the Detroit Sym-
phony Orchestra, the Kenneth
Jewell Chorale and the Bushnell
Chancel Choir also will partici-
pate.
Ray Ferguson is the conduc-
tor, and temple Music Director
Jason Tickon coordinated the
evening.
Other pieces on the program
are Overture on Hebrew Themes
by Prokofieff and Belshazzaar's
Feast by Walton.
Admission is free, and
