"Concert and Croissants" will
be the theme of the 60th anniver-
sary installation meeting of the
Jewish Home for Aged Auxiliary,
scheduled for 10 a.m. May 13 at
Cong. Beth Shalom.
Following breakfast and the in-
stallation of officers, The Adelson
Family will perform in concert.
Joyce Adelson, a graduate of the
Eastman School of Music and a
concert pianist on the faculty of
Oakland University, will perform
with her two sons.
Robert, 17, has been principal
clarinetist with the Michigan
Youth Symphony, Livonia Youth
Symphony, the World Youth
Symphony at Interlochen and the
Tanglewood Young Artists pro-
gram. He will tour as a soloist
with the Detroit Symphony Or-
chestra this summer.
Andy, 16, is principal oboist
with the Detroit Symphony Civic
Orchestra. Both Andy and Robert
are winners in the Maccabees
Mutual Quest for Excellence
competition.
Cynthia Steinberg will be in-
stalled for a second term as
president. Marilyn Rowens is vice
president of program.
There is a fee. Reservation

Art Historian Speaks
For NCJW Meeting

Michael Farrell, professor of
art history, director of Art
House, staff member of the De-
troit Institute of Arts, will be
the featured speaker at a meet-
ing of National Council of
Jewish Women, Greater Detroit
Secton, Flair-Education program
at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at the
NCJW Office, 30233 Southfield
Rd., Suite 100, Southfield.
Farrell's subject will be "Art
and Architure in Detroit's Gol-
den Age." Tea, wine and cheese
will follow the lecture. Pre-
registration is requested. There
is a charge.

Marjory Ansell, public relations
vice president; Joyce Sosin, pub-
lic affairs, vice president; Carol
Isaacson, Flair chairwoman;
Judy Marx, education chairwo-
