The bride is the daughter of
Ruth and Herbert Hausman of
San Francisco. Parents of the
bridegroom are Jacqueline and
Herbert Zimmerman of South-
field and Susanne Zimmerman of
Santa Barbara, Calif.
The bride's sister, Dorian An-
nette Hausman, was the maid of
honor. Stanley Drew Zimmerman
was his brother's best man.
Following a honeymoon in
Europe, the couple is residing in
San Francisco.

Commemoration
The Sholem Aleichem Institute
commemorates the Warsaw
Ghetto uprising, together with
members of the Polish Home
Army Association, at 8:30 p.m.
today at the Franklin Pointe
Apts. club house.
To commemorate that event
readings, poetry, songs and recol-
lections of life in the ghetto will be
presented.

On Jewish Art
Professor Joseph Gutmann of
Wayne State Univeilsity has been
appointed a visiting professor at
the University of Michigan for the
summer to teach a class on
"Jewish Art: A Survey from An-
tiquity to the Present."
The class will be taught from 10
a.m. to noon on Mondays and
Wednesdays during July and
August.
Dr. Gutmann has authored 16
books and 160 articles on Jewish
ceremonial art. He has also served
as rabbi at Temple Beth El, and at
Cong. Solel in Brighton.
