The Chai Singles Ski Club is
still taking reservations for its
Memorial Day weekend river
rafting trip. Cost of the trip,
scheduled for May 25 and 26, will
include white water rafting,
transportation and accommoda-

The ski club will have a hiking
weekend at the Picture Rocks of
the Upper Peninsula July 26-28.

terested in playing co-ed softball
at 10:30 a.m. Sundays at Brace-
Lederle field in Southfield should

CNJS will have a baSeball
theme party at 9 p.m. Saturday at
the main Jewish Center. The eve-
ning will feature rock videos,
baseball game and batting cage,
prizes and Tiger memorabilia.
There will be a cash bar and
"seventh inning stretch" special.
Music will be provided by WHND
radio and the big Screen Co.
Singles age 25-45 are invited.
Ballpark food will be available.

discussed by Benny Schwarz at
the American Technion Society,
Detroit Chapter public meeting to
be held on Wednesday at 7:45 p.m.
at Cong. Beth Achim. The pro-
gram also will include a film, Is-
rael's High Technology Indus-
tries.
Moderator of the evening's pro-
gram will be Jack Stone.
Schwarz is the metro Detroit
Jewish community's current
shaliach.
He served in the Israel Defense
Forces with rank of sergeant
1966-1969. Schwarz is a graduate
of the Technion with a B.Sc. de-
gree in architecture and town
planning and has served as chief
architect, Jordan Valley Plan-
ning Department in Israel.
