Spring Happening Has
Talk For Women On Stress
The Sisterhood of Temple Beth
El will' hold its third annual
"Spring Happening" on April 29
at the temple.
The day will begin at 10 a.m.
with a complimentary continen-
tal breakfast and an avenue of
fashion and boutiques. At noon, a
gourmet luncheon will be served.
An informal fashion show will be
presented during the luncheon.
The guest speaker this year is Dr.
F. Paul Pearsall, who will speak
on "The Wonder Woman Syn-
drome: Stress, Strain and Staying
Sane."
Dr. Pearsall designed and di-
rects the Problems of Daily Living
Clinic in the department of psy-
chiatry at Sinai Hospital of De-
troit. He is professor psychology
at Henry Ford Community Col-
lege, adjunct professor at the
Wayn•State University Medical
School and associate director of
Summer Institutes at the Kinsey
Institute for Research in Sex,
Gender and Reproduction.
He has done post-graduate
work at the Masters and Johnson
Institute, the Harvard Medical
School, the Albert Einstein Medi-
cal School and the University of
Colorado Medical School. He has
presented papers throughout
North America on topics relevant
to transitional life crises confront-
ing the family today.
Dr. F. Paul Pearsall
Dr. Pearsall has designed and
offered seminars for physicians,
nurses, teachers, and other pro-
fessionals on effective communi-
cation, professional and personal
stress, and maintaining a balance
between personal and profes-
sional growth.
His publications are in the area
of learning disabilities, family
growth and development, sexual
health and short term therapy
formats. Now in preparation is his
most recent book to be published
by McGraw-Hill, entitled/mmun-
ity and The Universe: Self, Others,
Us, and Forever.

Sue Salesin is chairman of the
day, and Lorraine Gard is co-
chairman. The public is welcome.
