elected president of the B'nai
B'rith Women's Council of Met-
ropolitan Detroit.
Mrs. Merdler is a member of the
Michigan Regional Advisory
Board of the Anti-Defamation
League, B'nai B'rith Youth
Organization board, delegate to
the Jewish Community Council, a
United Fund Torch Drive worker,
supporter of the Detroit Sym-
phony Orchestra and also the De-
troit Soviet Jewry Committee of
the Jewish Community Council.
A life member of B'nai B'rith
Women and Hadassah, Mrs. Mer-
dler came up through the ranks of
the B'nai B'rith Girls. She served
twice as president of Tzedakah
Chapter of BBWomen and has
held Council offices.
Elected to serve with Mrs. Mer-
dler were: Presidents-Elect:
Jeannie Weiner, Lucille Gersten
and Sharon Moss Lebovic; Trea-

The B'nai B'rith Women's
