concluding days of Passover.
Services will be held as follows:
ADAT SHALOM
SYNAGOGUE: Services will be
held at 6 p.m. today and 9 a.m.
Saturday (Yizkor). Rabbi Efry
Spectre will officiate, and Cantor
Larry Vieder will chant the
liturgy.
CONG. BETH ABRAHAM
HILLEL MOSES: Concluding
Days' services will be held at 7
p.m. today and 8:45 a.m. (Yizkor)
and 7 p.m. Saturday. Rabbi A. Irv-
ing Schnipper will officiate, and
Cantor Ben-Zion Lanxner will
chant the liturgy.
CONG. BETH ACHIM: Serv-
ices will be held at 7 p.m. today
and 8:45 a.m. (Yizkor) and 7 p.m.
Saturday. Max Nosanchuk will
chant the Haftorah. Rabbi Milton
Shabat services end
Passover holiday.
Arm will deliver the sermon and
Cantor Max Shimansky will
chant the luturgy.
CONG. BETH ISAAC OF
TRENTON: Services will be held
at 7:30 p.m. today.
CONG. -BETH SHALOM:
Services will be held at 6 p.m.
today and 9 a.m. Saturday (Yiz-
kor). Rabbi David A. Nelson will
speak on "Tears of Remembr-
ance." Cantor Samuel L. Green-
baum will chant the liturgy. Min-
chah will be at 7 p.m. Saturday.
BIRMINGHAM TEMPLE:
Rabbi Sherwin Wine will speak
on "The Black Jews — Exodus
From Ethiopia" at services at 8:30
p.m. today. Whitney Brown will
become Bat Mitzvah.
CONG. B'NAI DAVID: Con-
cluding Days' services will be held
at 7 p.m. today and 8:30 a.m. and
7:10 p.m. Saturday. Yizkor will be
recited at about 10:15 a.m. Satur-
day. Rabbi Morton F. Yolkut will
officiate, and Cantors Hyman
Adler and Barry Ulrych will
chant the liturgy.
CONG. B'NAI MOSHE: To-
day's services will begin at 6:30
p.m. At 8:30 a.m. services Satur-
day, Larry Rockind will chant the
Haftorah, Yizkor will be recited
and officers will be installed.
Saturday's services will be held at
6:30 p.m. Rabbi Stanley Rosen-
baum will officiate, and Cantor
Louis Klein will chant the
luturgy.
DOWNTOWN
SYNAGOGUE: Services will be
held at 8 a.m. Saturday, with Yiz-
kor at 9:15 a.m. Rabbi Noah M.
Gamze will speak on "Coping
With Our Own Fears." Cantor Is-
rael I. Idelsohn will chant the
liturgy.
TEMPLE EMANU-EL: Yiz-
kor will be recited at services at
10:30 a.m. today. The congrega-
tion will join the other Detroit-
area Reform temples at Temple
Israel at 8:30 p.m. today for the
annual Isaac M. Wise Shabbat
services. Sabbath services will be
held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Rabbi Lane Steinger will of-
ficiate, and Cantor Norman Rose
will chant the liturgy.

speak on "Song of the Sea." Satur-

Services will be at 6 p.m. today
and 8:45 a.m. Saturday. Yizkor
will be recited and memorial
plaques dedicated. Rabbi Irwin
Groner will speak on "The Act of
Faith." Rabbis Groner and Ken-
neth L. Cohen will officiate, and
Cantors Chaim Najman and Sid-
. ney Rube will chant the liturgy.
TROY JEWISH CONGRE-
GATION: Services (Yizkor) will
be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, con-
ducted by JoAnne Levy and Asher
Galed. A kosher-for-passover
oneg will follow.
YOUNG ISRAEL OF
GREENFIELD: Services will be
at 7 p.m. today and 9 a.m. Satur-
day. Rabbi Reuven Drucker and
Rabbi Emeritus Samuel H. Prero
will officiate.
YOUNG ISRAEL OF OAK-
WOODS: Concluding services
will be at 9 a.m. today. Rabbi
Moshe Dombey of Jerusalem, Is-
rael, will deliver the guest ser-
mon. At 9 a.m. Yizkor services
Saturday, Rabbi James I. Gordon

Lectures On Israel
Set At B'nai David
The Cultural Commission of
Cong. B'nai David will present a
lecture series entitled "Israel
After Lebanon: Three Perspec-
tives" on three consecutive Sun-
day mornings beginning April 21
in the Julius Rotenberg Hall of
the synagogue.
The keynote speaker will be
Wolf Blitzer, chief Washington
correspondent of the Jerusalem
Post, who will speak on "The
Arab-Israel Peace Process: An
Analysis" on April 21.
Subsequent lectures will be de-
livered by Emanuel Zippori, con-
sul general of Israel to the Mid-
west, speaking on Israel's eoc-
nomic crisis on April 28, and
Wendy Orent, doctoral candidate
at the University of Michigan,
speaking on "Religious and
Ethnic Tensions in Israel" on May
5.
A free continental breakfast
will be held each week at 10:15
a.m. followed by the lecture at 11.
A question and answer period will
follow, and the public is invited
free of charge.
The B'nai David Cultural
Commission is chaired by Dr. and
Mrs. Joseph Orent.
