65th Anniversary

Ida and Louis Bregman were
honored at a brunch at Sassy's on
March 3 given by their children,
Shirley and Harry Markowitz and
Ruth and Bernard Mintz, in cele-
bration of their 65th anniversary.
Bregman married the former
Ida Olshansky on Feb. 29, 1920, at
the Agudas Achim Synagogue,

Hastings and Ferry Streets, De-
troit.

They have nine grandchildren

65th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Allen D. Ribiat
recently celebrated their 65th
wedding anniversary.
They were married in Poland
and settled in Detroit shortly af-
terward.
Their children are Mr. and Mrs.
Seymour (Sonia) Ribiat of Oak
Park, Dr. and Mrs. Leon
(Blanche) Burg of Southfield, Dr.
and Mrs. Benjamin (Rosaline)
Magier of Oak Park and Rabbi
and Mrs. Arthur (Joyce) Ribiat of
Los Angeles, Calif.
The senior Ribiats have 13
grandchildren and 14 great-
grandchildren.
Ribiat is retired from the

wholesale grocery business.
The senior Ribiats are long-
time members of Cong. B'nai
Israel-Beth Yehudah (the former
"Poilishe shul") and Cong. B'nai
Zion, where Ribiat served volun-
tarily as Baal Shachrit for High
Holiday services. They also are
affiliated with Young Israel of
Oak Woods.
A member of the Sisterhoods of
Cong. Beth Yehudah, Cong. B'nai
Zion and Young Israel of Oak-
Woods, Mrs. Ribiat is also a life-
member of the Ladies of
Yeshivath Beth Yehudah and a
volunteer for the Jewish Family
Services.

50th Anniversary

Clara and Avrum Feinstein of
Southfield and Delray Beach,
Fla., will celebrate their 50th
wedding anniversary in April.
Born in Romania, the Feins-
teins have lived in the Detroit
area since 1945. Founder and
president of Brent Furniture,

Feinstein is an active member of
Cong. Beth Abraham Hillel
Moses.

The Feinsteins have three mar-
ried children and four grand-
children. Their children will host
a celebration for them in May.

Toughlove Meeting

Oak Park High School repre-
sentatives of S.A.D.D. (Students
Against Drunk Driving), will
speak at the next parent/teen
night of Toughlove, in the Oak
Park Community Center, 7:30

p.m. April 17. The public is in-
vited.
Toughlove will also sponsor a
bowl-a-thon at Hartford Lanes in
Berkley, 2:30-5:30 p.m. April 27.
