NEW PANHANDL'RS CLEAN AND SHINE
LIKE STEEL WOOL WITHOUT RUSTING, SPLINTERING
OR FALLING APART AND THEY'RE 0 KOSHER.

Jack M. Schultz has been
named chairman of the special
campaign in behalf of the new
State of Israel Individual Vari-
able Rate Bond (IVRI) in addition
to his responsibilities as the State
of Israel Variable Rate Issue Bond
Chairman.
Schultz explained that the new
IVRI instrument pays a minimum
annual interest of 6 percent plus
50 percent of the excess over 6
percent of the average of the
prime rates quoted on April 1 and
Oct. 1 by three major U.S. banks,
the Bank of America in San Fran-
cisco, The First National Bank of
Chicago in Chicago, and
Citibank, N.A. in New York. A
minimum purchase of $10,000 is
required, except that purchases of
less than $10,000 are available in
$2,500 units when purchased
within 12 months after a purchase
of $10,000 or more.
The new Bond matures ten
years from the date of issue. The
interest is computed semi-
annually and is paid on April 1 of
each year by check mailed to the
owner of record by the Chase
Manhattan Bank. Interest paid
on the IVRI Bond for the first
interest period, if for less than one
year, will be pro-rated.
In addition to individual sub-
scribers, IVRI Bonds may be pur-
chased by IRA and Keogh plans,
employee benefit plans and tax
exempt charitable, educational,
or religious institutions. The
Bonds may be transferred to the
above plans and institutions and
also to banks (but only as collat-
eral for loans), or an individual

While PANHANDL'RSTM
no rust detergent pads clean
and shine like steel wool,
they won't rust, splinter or
fall apart like steel wool. So they last five times
longer.
That's because PANHANDL'RS are made
of steel-less wool. And they have a super
grease cutting detergent that works even in
hard water areas.
What's more, PANHANDL'RS are safe
for non-stick surfaces. And for kosher kitchens.
(Unlike S.O.S and Brillo.)

League Hosts
Special Seder

The Co-operative Council of the
League of Jewish Women's
Organizations is working with
Rabbi and Mrs. Solomon H. Grus-
kin to prepare a special Seder for
nearly 250 handicapped and el-
derly who live in isolation from
the Jewish community.
Some of those attending the
Seder on April 9 at the Lubavitch
Center on Middlebelt are assisted
by the Jewish Vocational Serv-
ice's Project Outreach program.
The funding for this annual
event is made possible by the Co-
operative Council.
In last week's article, "Federa-
tion Agencies Prepare For
Passover," the Co-operative
Council was erroneously omitted.
Also, Cantor David Gutman will
conduct two Seders and Passover
services at Prentis Manor -
Jewish Home for Aged.
