She leaves her hus- band, Charles; two sons, Jeffrey and Edwin of Austin, Tex.; two daughters, Helene and Karen; a brother, Harry Fitlow of Tamarac, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Ida) Van Baalen of Bir- mingham, Ala., and Mrs. Sidney (Mildred) Miller of Grand Rapids. NEIL N. GOODMAN, 56, died March 21. He leaves his wife, Le- Daniel Lichtman Daniel A. Lichtman, an attor- ney with offices in Detroit, died March 23 at age 35. A native Detroiter, Mr. Lichtman was graduated from the University of Michigan in 1972 and the Detroit College of Law in 1975. From 1975 to 1982 he was the assistant prosecuting attor- ney for Oakland County. He was a former member of the Far- mington Hills Zoning Board of Appeals. Mr. Lichtman was a member of Michigan, Oakland County and American bar associations. He also was a member of the Ameri- can Trial Lawyers Association, the U-M Alumni Club and the De- troit College of Law Second Cen- tury Club. He leaves his wife, Krista; a daughter, Rachel; two sons, Jason and Zachary; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Naomi) Lichtman of Marshall, Mich.; a brother, Lawr- ence; and two sisters, Mrs. James (Nancy) Marterella of South Lyons and Mrs. Jerry (Susan) Huffman of Canton. Harry Kaminer Harry Kaminer, liaison to the once thriving landsmanschaften organizations in Detroit, died March 1 in Jerusalem, Israel. Born in Varchivka, Poland, Mr. Kaminer came to Detroit in 1921. He maintained a produce busi- ness in Eastern Market for 50 years. Mr. Kaminer had spoken and done writing on behalf of the landsmanschaften organizations. He retired to Florida 13 years ago, and in 1983 made aliyah to spend his remaining years in Is- rael. He is survived by his wife, Gladys; a son, Reuven of Jerusalem; a daughter, Annette of California; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Jean Faudman Jean Faudman, a volunteer for more than 30 years for the Jewish Home for Aged, died March 15 at age 81. Born in Russia, Mrs. Faudman was a member of the Sinai Hospi- tal Guild and worked in the hospi- tal gift shop. She was a member of Pisgah Chapter of B'nai B'rith and Hadassah. She is survived by three sons, Stephen T., Edmund W. and Ar- nold; a sister, Mrs. Molly Portin; six grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. nore; and two sons, Ronald and Harvey. MAX J. GROSS, 78, died March 25. She is survived by two sons, Seymour of Glorietta, N.M., and Ralph; a brother, Ben Shea of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Belle Weisman; and seven grandchildren. Mary Saidman Mary August Saidman, first woman president of Temple Kol Ami, died March 27 at age 43. A native Detroiter, Mrs. Said- man was a member of the temple, president of Sharon Group of Hadassah and a state area vice president of Hadassah. Mrs. Saidman worked with the Detroit Chapter of American Friends of Haifa University and was a member of Women's American ORT and National Council of Jewish Women. She leaves her husband, Dr. Mark; a son, John; a daughter, Amy; her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Harry E. (Helen) August; and a brother, James. Services 11:30 a.m. today at the Ira Kaufman Chapel. Zvee Scooler New York — Yiddish actor and radio commentator Zvee Scooler died March 25 at age 85. Mr. Scooler appeared on Broadway, off Broadway, in Yid- dish theater and in movies.
