She is a performing member of the Birmingham Musicale and the Detroit Alum- nae Chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon. Ms. Rosner-Doelker was mem- bership chairman of the Detroit Flute Association from 1979 to 1983 and is also affiliated with the National Flute Association. Salon Memorial Music Scholarship, the MSC Scholarship Awards and the Michigan Federation Of Music Clubs District Festival. Ms. Rosner-Doelker is part of the "Rosner Trio," an ensemble including her mother, Collette Salon Ramer, pianist; and her sis- ter, Cindi Rosner Kelly, clarinetist. Ms. Rosner-Doelker has studied with members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and attended master classes of Jean- Pierre Rampal, William Bennett an Andras Adorjan. She coaches with Ervin Monroe, principal flutist of the DSO. Miss Grix has performed in con- cert at Symphony Hall in Boston, the Kennedy Center in Washing- ton, D.C., and as a featured soloist with the International Symphony Orchestra. In 1983, Miss Grix was the only harpist invited to Halifax, Nova Scotia, as a young artist for the Scotia Festival of Music. Locally, she has performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Michigan Opera Theater, and at the Pine Knob Music Theater and the Premiere Center. She entertains at Detroit-area restau- rants. She studied with Velma Froude at Michigan State University, and with Lucile Lawrence at Bos- ton University, where she re- ceived her master's degree in music. She is on the music facul- ties of Mercy High School in Far- mington Hills and the Waldorf School in Detroit.
