No food or fashion layouts for people
photographer Arthur Leipzig, who
finds excitement in photographing
Jews around the world.

Don't ask Arthur Leipzig to shoot fashions or food.
They're not his thing.
"People are my thing. I'm a people photographer."
Most of his people are Jews — Jews from India,
Morocco, Ethiopia, Hungary, and almost anywhere Jews
reside.
Leipzig, who was in Detroit Sunday to speak at the
opening of his "Jewish Life Around the World" photo ex--
hibit at the main Jewish Community Center, didn't start
off photographing Jews for a living. In fact, he didn't start
out as a photographer at all.
