Dr. Ronald E. Trunsky has been
elected new chief of staff of Sinai
Hospital of Detroit.
Dr. Trunsky is an associate pro-
fessor of psychiatry at Wayne
State University and an associate
clinical professor of psychiatry at
the Michigan State University
College of Human Medicine. A
native of Chicago, Dr. Trunsky
was graduated from the Univer-
sity of Michigan Medical School in
1956. He served as a captain in
the U.S. Army, began a psychia-
try residency at U-M Hospital,
and completed his residency at
Sinai in 1962.
Also elected to the medical staff
were Dr. Sheldon M. Kantor, vice
chief of staff; and Dr. Norman Bol-
ton, secretary/treasurer.
Elected staff executive commit-
tee representatives to the joint
conference committee were: Dr.
Allen Berlin, Dr. Philip N. Cas-
cade, M.D., Dr. Samuel Inde-
nbaum and Dr. Norman
Rosenzweig.
In addition, Dr. Indenbaum, Dr.
Gerald H. Mandell and Dr. Harold
Perry were elected staff executive
committee representatives to the
education corporation, on which
the medical staff officers also
serve.
