According to the report, an av- erage of 90,000 workers a week from the territories commuted to jobs in Israel last year, an in- crease over the 88,000 per week average in 1983. They repre- sented 37 percent of the total work force of 248,000 in the territories. The West Bank supplied 50,000 and 40,000 came from Gaza Strip. Of those numbers, 44,000 Arabs were employed in construction.
