Novel On Hatred

Jewish Parents Institute stu-
dents in the fifth, sixth and
seventh grades will present a
dramatization of a novel about
anti-Semitism in contemporary
society at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at
the main Jewish Community
Center. JPI member and parent,
Betty Lurie, will direct the prod-
uction.
The presentation is entitled,
"The Sundback Year."

JPI To Conduct
Pesach Seder

The Jewish Parents Institute
will hold its annual community
Passover Seder at the main
Jewish Community Center at
noon March 31. The Seder will be
in Shiffman Hall. •
Readings by parents and chil-
dren from JPI's own Haggadah
will be followed by the meal. The
Passover celebration will also fea-
ture traditional music and danc-
ing by JPI students. Community
dancing will be led by Beth Nor-
man, JPI's dance instructor.
There is a charge. Admission is
free for children under 3. For
reservations, call the JPI, 661-
1000 ext. 159, Monday through
Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or
Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Israel Chapter invites all B'nai
B'rith Women and their guests to
a musical evening honoring
Esther Applebaum, outgoing
president of B'nai B'rith Women's
Council of Metropolitan Detroit,
at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the
Zionist Cultural Center.
Mrs. Applebaum has served as

Judges Ira G. Kaufman and
Norman W. Feder, co-chairmen of
the Einstein Luncheon Forum,
announced that Israeli Knesseter
Moshe Meron will address the
forum's luncheon session March
25 at noon at Hamilton Place.
