March 5. He leaves two sisters,
Mrs. Arthur (Anne) Scheiner of

Marco Island, Fla., died March 4.
Survived by her husband, Martin;
three daughters, Marlene Toby of
Sylvan Lake, Mich., Mrs. Pinkie
Pierce of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Mrs.
Donna Simons of Brattleboro, Vt.;
a brother, Jack Glantz of Bir-
mingham, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs.

and Mrs. Helen Silberg of Miami,
Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

field, died March 5. Survived by
her husband, Jacob; a daughter,
Susan; a sister, Betty Alter; and

field, died March 1. Survived by
her husband, Manuel H.; a son,
Marc; and a brother, Joseph Treb-
lin.

SARAH COHEN, 90, of Detroit,

died March 3. Survived by a son,
Harry of Delray Beach, Fla.; a
daughter, Mrs. Benjamin (Es-
telle) Monson; four grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.

YETTA DRACHLER, 82, of
Southfield, died March 4. Sur-
vived by a daughter, Mrs. Harold
(Ruth) Podolsky; five
grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren.

ETHEL L. FREEMAN, 92, died

Feb. 24. She leaves a daughter,
Mrs. Louis (Claire) Cahn; and
three grandchildren.

DR. MARTIN FRIEDEN-
BERG, 68, former Detroiter of La

Jolla, Calif., died Feb. 27. Sur-
vived by his wife, Rose; a son, An-
drew; three daughters, Mrs. Tess
Tessler of Flagstaff, Ariz., Mrs.
Linda Bjorka of Boston, Mass.,
and Mrs. Julie Berner of La Jolla;
and two grandchildren. Inter-
ment San Diego, Calif.

Southfield, died March 1. Sur-
vived by a son, Robert; a daugh-
ter, Janice Rolnick; his mother,
Jennie Klinger of Miami Beach,

Neck, N.Y., and Mac of Long Is-
land, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Dave
(Millie) Rothenberg of Hazlet,
N.J., and Mrs. Mark (Francine)
Meyer of Middletown, N.Y.; and
two grandchildren.

Feb. 27. She leaves her husband,
Jerome; two daughters, Lois
Wahle of Hayward, Calif., and
Barbara Charns; a sister, Estelle
Klein; and four grandchildren.

DANIEL B. MENKEN, 60, died

Feb. 28. He leaves his wife, Dor-
sey; two sons, Steven and Robert;
and a daughter, Jill.

Houghton, Mich., died Feb. 27. He
leaves his wife, Georgette; two
daughters, Mrs. Selma Hime of
Beverly Hills, Calif., and Mrs.
Jerry (Betty) Lamoureaux of
Houghton Lake; seven
grandchildren and ten great-

March 5. She leaves her husband,
Melvin; two sisters, Mrs. Samuel
(Dorothy) Weinzager and Mrs.
Marian DeBarr; one niece and one
nephew.

Lounge, died Feb. 28 at age 82.
Born in Russia, Mr. Porvin
lived many years in Detroit prior
to moving to North Miami, Fla.
He was a founding member of the
former Cong. Beth Aaron, a
member of the Judea Social Club
and a member of International
Order of Odd Fellows.
He leaves his wife, Sophie;
three sons, Bernard, Samford and
Dennis, all of West Bloomfield;
three sisters, Betty of Laguna
Hills, Calif., Mrs. Al (Beverly)
Warshaw of Encino, Calif.; and
Mrs. Marvin (Clara) Fiarman of
Los Angeles, Calif.; and ten
