Kevin Raymond Fisher, son of
former Detroiters Mandy and Joel
Fisher of Clearwater, Fla., and
brother to Ari was called to the
Torah on the occasion of his bar
mitzvah on March 2 at Temple
Ahavat Shalom in Palm Harbor,
Fla.
Kevin is a student at Temple
Ahavat Shalom, active in the
youth group and vice president of
the Kinder Knesset Council. He
attends Palm Harbor Middle
School, where he is in the seventh
grade.
Kevin was on the honor roll and
is chairman of the student coun-
cil. He enjoys tennis, basketball,
jogging and baseball.
His parents hosted a reception
at the Rusty Pelican Restaurant.
Guests at the bar mitzvah were
grandparents Mr. and Mrs. David
Kalisher of Margate, Fla., and
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Salida of
London, England, Dr. and Mrs.
Lester Kalisher of New Jersey,
Elliott Fisher of Van Nuys, Calif.,
and relatives and friends from

chanted the Maftir and Haftorah.
Rachel is the daughter of Dr.
and Mrs. Stephan R. Morse (Bar-
bara Ann Tatken). She is the sis-
ter of Jennifer Leigh.
Maternal grandparents are Mr.
and Mrs. Louis Berry. Paternal
grandmother is Mrs. Jerry Morse.
