The nude bodies of two Israeli-
born brothers were discovered a
mile-and-a-half from each other
in Highland Park Saturday morn-
ing.
According to Highland Park
Police Chief William Ford, the
brothers, Michael Schiller, 34,
and Dror Schiller, 31, were the
victims of multiple gunshot
wounds. One of the bodies was
wrapped in plastic. The other was
wrapped in a sheet.
Ford said he was certain the
brothers had been murdered
elsewhere and their bodies
dumped in Highland Park. No
motive has been established in
their deaths and the police are at-
tempting to locate the murder
scene.
No identification was found
with the bodies, which were iden-
tified through fingerprints, and
Ford said it seemed that the "per-
petrators wanted to subvert the
evidence."
The brothers were owners of the
Baskin Robbins ice cream parlor
at Lincoln Center in Oak Park.
The police are seeking informa-
tion about the Schillers' social
habits, friends and other informa-
tion to help the investigation.
Persons with such information
should call Sgt. Arnold Czarnecki
at the Highland Park police sta-
tion, 252-0132.
