nounces its Chai Singles Ski Club
(age 25-45) will go to Alpine Val-
ley Sunday, meeting for carpools
at 9 a.m. at the main Center.
The Chai Singles Ski Club
CNJS will meet for drinks at 5:30
p.m. March 13 at Bloomfield
Charley'S.
The CNJS Dinner Club will
have brunch at 10:30 a.m. March
17 at Dimitri's, Southfield. There
is a fee, which includes a $1 serv-
ice fee. Tax and tip are extra. To

The ski club will take a trip to
Vail, Colo., March 16-23. Cost in-
cludes deluxe accommodations,
wine and cheese parties, heated

Ecumenical Evening Slated
At Precious Legacy Exhibit
Rev. James R. Lyons will speak
on "What Is the Legacy?" at a pri-
vate showing of the Precious Le-
gacy exhibit on March 14 at 6 p.m
at the Detroit Institute of Arts.
The evening also includes a tour
of the exhibit, followed by a wine
and cheese reception (dietary
laws observed).
This ecumenical evening is co-
sponsored by the American
Jewish Committee, the Archdio-
cese of Detroit, the Center for
Polish Studies and Culture, the
Christian Communication Coun-
cil, the Ecumenical Institute for
Jewish-Christian Studies, the
Greater Detroit Round Table of
the National Conference of Chris-
tians and Jews, the Holocaust
Memorial Center and the Jewish
Community Council.

To Host Lecture
Mikvah Israel, Inc., will spon-
sor a public assembly in memory
of Rabbi Shalom Goldstein,
longtime Detroit resident and
community leader, on the occa-
sion of his first yahrzeit, the 13th
of Adar, Tuesday, at 8 p.m. at
Cong. Beth Tefilo Emanuel Tik-
vah.
Rabbi Irvin Chinn of McKees-
port, Pa., a noted orator and the
author of several works on
taharas hamishpacha (ritual fam-
ily purity), will be the guest
speaker.
This gathering is for both men
and women. There is no charge for
the program.
