Women's Concert Features
Variety of Performers

The "Light Up The World" mus-
ical production, sponsored by
Lubavitch Women's Organization
to be held March 10 at 7:30 p.m. at
Southfield-Lathrup High School,
will feature many local artists.
Hannah Elbinger, a student of
Boris Maximovich, will perform
the Rachmaninoff Prelude in G
Minor. Mrs. Elbinger is currently
working towards a degree in
music therapy at Wayne State
University.
Patti Ross has studied under
Seymour Bernstein of New York
and Ralph Votapch, winner of the
first International Van Cliburn
Competition. She has been ac-
companist for Interlochen Na-
tional Music Camp and has a
Bachelor of Music degree and
piano pedogy from Michigan
State University. She will play
Malaguena.
Bat Sheva Goldzer, flutist, has
appeared on radio and television
and taught woodwinds at Mercy
College. She will join Devora
Moskowitz, guitarist, to accom-
pany Jocelyn Krieger, lyric sop-
rano, in an authentic Ladino song,
Cuando el Rey.
Mrs. Krieger, who has studied
voice under Emilio Roxas of the
Metropolitan Opera staff and An-
thony Marlowe of Covent Gar-
dens, England and the Milan Op-

era, will include in the evening's
selections the Italian art song
Mattinatta by Leocavello.
Mrs. Krieger has studied piano
under Mischa Kottler and will
play Rhapsodie Hungaria by
Koelling as well joining Gloria
Gardin in a piano and violin duet
of Monte's Csardaas and Two
Guitars.

She has appeared as guest sol-
oist with the Detroit Symphony
Orchestra and many times with
the Detroit Concert Band.
Mrs. Gardin, violinist, has
played with the Detroit Sym-
phony Orchestra and has a
Bachelor of Music degree from
Wayne State University.
The Beth Jacob School Girls
Choir and the Tzivos Hashem
Girls Choir will perform Hebrew
and Yiddish selections.
The "Light Up the World" con-
cert will be the culmination of Na-
tional Jewish Woman's Week,
Sunday through March 10.
Tickets will be available at the
door.
There also will be a brunch on
Sunday at 10 a.m. featuring
Sarah C. Schreiber, educator,
author and lecturer from Brook-
lyn. N.Y.
