The senior adult department of
the Jewish Community Center
will present Carol King to speak
on "Women Are Equal — Fact or
Fiction?" at 1 p.m. today in Jaffe
Hall of the Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch of the Center.
All senior adults are invited
free of charge. The program is
supported by a grant from Area
Agency on Aging, 1-B.
A pre-Purim program for chil-
dren and grandchildren is being
planned by the senior adults at
the Morris Branch. The program
will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Jaffe
Hall. Admission is free. Songs,
dance and refreshments will high-
light the afternoon.

on "Life in Shanghai," at noon
Monday in room 239 of the main
Jewish Center building. Lunch-

Getting Less?" at 1 p.m. March 8
at the Morris Branch. All seniors

New Restaurant
At The Center

Zayde's Garden Cafeteria, op-
erated by Walter Zukin under the
auspices of the Council of Or-
thodox Rabbis, will open today at
the main Jewish Center.
The kosher restaurant features
combination sandwiches,
homemade pastries, kreplach and
deli delights.
Hours are 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and 5
- 8 p.m. Monday through Thurs-
day and 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Friday
and Sunday.

Las Vegas Night
Comes To Center

The Jewish Center will have a
Las Vegas night at 8 p.m. March
30. There will be games and
prizes.
An orientation for dealers will
take place at 8 p.m. Wednesday in
Shiffman Hall. To volunteer or for

IRS Lends A Hand

The Internal Revenue Service
will present programs on the new
tax law at the Southfield Public
Library during March.

written by Dr. Stephen Midgal,
