Mayme and Victor Lawson
50th Anniversary
Victor and Mayme Lawson of
Oak Park will celebrate their
50th wedding anniverary on Sun-
day.
The Lawsons were married in
1935 in Detroit.
Their children are Dr. Noel and
Judith (Dzodin) Lawson, Dr.
Larry and Gale (Pam) Lawson,
Mr. and Mrs. Allan (Deanna) Pin-
cus and Ms. Minde Lawson. The
senior Lawsons have six grand-
children: David and Audrey Law-
son, Miriam and Jonathan Pincus
and Rachel and Jeffrey Lawson.
The senior Lawson was associ-
.
ated with Mac-O-Lac Paint Co. for
45 years. After he retired, he went
into business for himself as a
manufacturer's representative.
Mrs. Lawson is involved in
community affairs and volunteer
work.
They have been members of
Cong. B'nai Moshe for 25 years,
and Mrs. Lawson sings with the
sisterhood choral group. She also
entertains for the senior citizens
at the Jewish Federation Apts.,
Borman Hall and Prentis Manor.
A party is being planned in
their honor.
50th Anniversary
Former Detroiters Ruth and
Lester Bernbaum of Tamarac,
Fla., celebrated their 50th wed-
ding anniversary on Feb. 14.
The Bernbaums have two sons,
Kenneth and Stuart; three grand:-
children and one great-grand-
child.
A dinner is being planned to
honor the couple.
