ZOA To Hear Econ Prof.

Prof. Oscar Miller

Prof. Oscar Miller, economics
professor at the University of Il-
linois, will address a public forum
on "Anti-Israel Propaganda" on
Thursday at 8 p.m. at Cong. B'nai
David, under the joint auspices of
Cong. B'nai David and the Zionist
Organization of America, Metro
Detroit District.
Leonard Herman, president of

Metro Detroit ZOA, and Rabbi
Morton Yolkut, spritual leader of
Cong. B'nai David, announced
that Prof. Miller will analyze the
various forms of anti-Israel and
anti-Zionist propaganda and offer
guidelines for effective counter-
action.
Assistant dean, College of
Business Administration, and
associate vice chancellor for stu-
dent services, University of Il-
linois, Chicago campus, Prof. Mil-
ler served in the U.S. Navy am-
phibious forces in World War II
and was the recipient of the
Bronze Star.
An authority on israel and the
Middle East, Prof. Miller serves
on the national council of Ameri-
can Professors for Peace in the
Middle East, the governing coun-
cil of the American Jewish Con-
gress, Chicago board of the
American Zionist Federation and
is chairman of the ZOA academic
commission for the Midwest
region.
The forum is open to the public
free of charge, and there will be
refreshments.

the appointment of Miriam Sol-
omon as regional director of
BBW's East Central Region.
The region extends from the
Greater Detroit area to
Pittsburgh, and includes all of
