Synagogue with Olga Zeldin, the
daughter of Semion and Sarah
Zeldin of Kazak SSR, USSR

Zeldin is an artist and pediatri-
cian and his wife, Sarah, is a
music teacher and journalist.
They have been denied permis-
sion to emigrate to Israel.
Danielle and Dana have written
several times to Olga but have re-
ceived no replies. They will at-
tempt to contact the family by
telephone and will send a con-
gratulatory message.

as guest speaker at the
"Psychological Problems of
Asthma and Emphysema in
Families and Patients" confer-
ence to be held at Oakland Com-
munity College Orchard Ridge
Campus on Thursday at 7 p.m.
The event is being sponsored by
the Asthma and Emphysema
Association of Michigan, a non-
profit organization.
Other speakers will include the
association's director, Dr. Bruce
Dubin, and Margo Gorchow,
nurse educator at Botsford Hospi-
tal.

Speech-Reading
Class Offered

The Sinai Hospital Health Care
Center in West Bloomfield will
offer a five-session speech-
reading class beginning Monday.
Sessions will be held on consecu-
tive Mondays at 5:30 p.m. at
Sinai's Nathan I. and Betty Gol-
din Health Care Center, 6450
Farmington Rd.
