Alice Ross Directs
Bond Reinvestment
Alice Ross of Bloomfield Hills
has accepted the post of chairman
for Reinvestment of Israel Borids
for Metro Detroit, D. Dan Kahn,
general chairman Of the local
Bond campaign, has announced.
Mrs. Ross pointed out that a
large number of Fifth Develop-
ment Issue Savings and Coupon
Bonds, purchased in 1971, will
mature beginning in March 1986.
She added that the government of
Israel has agreed to permit these
Bonds to be reinvested a year
early. Bonds maturing in April
1986 will be available for rein-
vestment in April 1985.
Holders of Bonds- due to mature
next year will soon be contacted
by the reinvestment committee or
the local Bond office.
Mrs. Ross is a long-time suppor-
ter and volunteer worker for the
Bond Organization. She was hon-
ored by Pioneer Women on behalf
of State of Israel Bonds in 1976, by
the Israel Bonds Women's Di-
vision in 1982 and she has served
as Israel Bonds reinvestment co-
chairman for several years.

The Scoliosis Association of
Michigan will meet in the eighth
floor lecture hall, Providence
Medical Building, 22250 Provi-
dence Drive, Southfield, at 7:30 --
p.m. Thursday.
The guest speaker will be Dr.
Phillip Perkins, radiologist,
chairman, department of
radiological imaging at Provi-
dence Hospital. His topic will be
"X-Ray — Benefit or Risk!! Also
available at the meeting are sup-
port groups for scoliosis patients
and their families. Refreshments
will be served. The public is in-
vited at no charge.
The Scoliosis Association of
Michigan will for the fourth year
partidipate in the Metropolitan
Detroit Science Fair to be held at
Cobo Hall March 6-10. Two $100
U.S. Savings Bonds will be
awarded to the two best scoliosis
projects entered by the students
grades seven through 12. For in-
