Murray Feldman

The sisterhood of Temple Beth
El will hold its men's and women's
dinner on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. Guest
speaker will be reporter/
anchorman Murray Feldman of
Channel 2.
Feldman will speak on "Being
Jewish in the Media—Personal
Observation."
Feldman joined Channel 2 in
December 1976. He came to
WJBK-TV from Providence, R.I.,
where he served for three years as
a reporter/anchorman for
WPRI-TV. He is a graduate of
Emerson College in Boston, Mass.
Raised in Philadelphia and
New Jersey, Feldman got his start
in television as a production assis-
tant in Camden, N.J. The job led
to a position in the news room. At
the age of 15, he would go out with
his own tape recorder and cover
news stories.
He has worked as a disc jockey,
reporter and in other positions.
He has covered all the major can-
didates on the local, state and na-
tional level.
There is a charge. Guests are
invited.

United Synagogue Youth Shab-
bat on Saturday.
Participants include: Joshua

Karen Knoppow, Shachrit serv-
ice; Debbie Chinitz, Torah serv-
ice; David Bernard, Daniella
Harpaz, Harry Nelson, Michael
Rocklin, Julie Satz, Rachel Satz,
Lynne Schwartz and Amy Wide-
nbaum, Torah readers.
In addition, Alex Greenbaum
will recite the Haftorah; Rhonda
Sandweiss will read the Prayer
for Our Country; Howard Appel
will lead the Ashrei.
Miss Chinitz will lead the Serv-
ice for Returning the Torah to the
Ark. United Synagogue Youth
President Julie Satz will deliver
the D'var Torah.
Dori Singer will lead the Musaf
service, Debra Nelson will lead in
Adon Olam and Larry Levine will
recite the kiddush.
