INVITATIONS

Enrollment has begun for the
Jewish Community Center's 1985
Summer Day Camp. A variety of
programs are offered for campers
age 3-15.
Robin Tobin, returning director
of the pre-school day camp pro-
grams, will base pre-school activi-
ties in the JCC nursery. The
Camp Ruth facilities, including
brand new outdoor playground
equipment, will also be used.
Pre-school campers aged 3. and
4 have the choice of three or five
half-days per week. Kindergarten
campers have the option of three
or five half-days or three or five
full days.
Full-day camp programs for
campers in kindergarten through
sixth grade include outdoor
games, swimming, nature, arts
and crafts and Judaica. A special
events calender features cook-
outs, a maccabiad and a carnival.
The Block Specialty Program
for fifth through ninth graders
allows campers to design their
own camp experience according to
their individual interests. Morn-
ing blocks include tennis, gym-
nastics, performing arts and corn-
puter. Afternoon blocks offer spe-
cialities in fine arts, dance and

The Jewish Center's Active
Adult program continues its
luncheon-lecture series on Mon-
day at noon in room 239 at the
Maple-Drake building. Luncheon
is served. There is a fee. Stanley
Clamage will speak on "Women in
the Bible."
The Active Adults program of-
fers a variety of classes and activi-
ties for retired adults on Monday
and Thursday. The Thursday
luncheon program, Program Pot-
pourri, features discussion, films
and much more.
Reservations are required for
the luncheons and can be made by
calling Julie Silver, adult worker,
661-1000 ext. 235. -
Carpools are forming in the
Oak Park-Southfield-Farmington
areas. Persons who need trans-
portation or can offer a ride should
call Ms. Silver.

very special three-day trip.
Campers of all ages will par-
ticipate in the JCC's summer
swim program. Transportation to

extra charge.
