Liz Taffet, national director of
major gifts and bequests for JNF,
will conduct a seminar on wills
and bequests on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
at the Zionist Cultural Center,
18451 W. Ten Mile, Southfield.
A fourth-generation life
member of Hadassah, Mrs. Taffet
has more than 25 years of experi-
ence in fund raising and organiza-
tion work in a career that has in-
cluded positions with the Ameri-
can Cancer Society, Hadassah
and Women's American ORT.
Before coming to JNF, Mrs. Taf-
fet specialized in major gift solici-
tation and deferred giving as a
consultant to CARE, Inc., planned
and implemented the New York
Foundation luncheon at the Ford
Foundation, led the foundation
caucus at the White House
Caucus on Library and Informa-
tion Services, and served as the
research editor on the Foundation
500.

Bonds New Leaders
See Precious Legacy
The New Leadership Division
of Metro Detroit State of Israel
Bonds will sponsor a cocktail re-
ception and private tour of the
Precious Legacy exhibit at the
Detroit Institute of Arts at 7 pm.
March 19, it was announced by
Donald Wagner and Lawrence
Wolfe, division general co-
chairmen. All members of the Is-
rael Bond Honor Societies will be
invited to participate.
As part of a nation-wide tour,
Precious Legacy is available for
viewing by the public at the DIA
March 13 - May 5; the Israel Bond
New Leadership event on March
19 is a private viewing.
