Construction has begun of the Jewell and Lester Morris Sports Hall at
Y uval on the Israel-Lebanon border. The sports hall will serve as a
community center, auditorium and gymnasium. It is jointly sponsored
by the Lester Morris Family, the Israel Education Fund and the Meyer
and Anna Prentis Family Foundation. Completion is expected in
August 1985.

Members of the Jewish Welfare Federation host committee met recently
to plan for the Detroit showing of the Precious Legacy. The committee is
coordinating communal activities in conjunction with the exhibit,
which will be previewed on March 11 by 1985 Allied Jewish Campaign
