Week of Jewish Woman Observance Is Planned Lubavitch Women's Organiza- tion has designated the week of March 3-10 as "The Week of the Jewish Woman." This second annual event will be held simultaneously through- out the U.S. and Israel. In the Detroit area, the week's events, carrying the theme, "The Jewish Woman: An Image of Pride and Integrity," will be launched with a brunch, featur- ing a speaker and workshops. This program will be held March 3 at the Lubavitch Education Cen- ter in Farmington Hills at 10 a.m. The events will culminate March 10 with a concert for and by women, starring Jocelyn Ruth Krieger at the Southfield- Lathrup High School at 7:30 p.m. At the concert, one woman from each participating women's organization will be honored with a special Eishes Chayil (Woman of Valor) Award. In addition, the community is invited to join in an Eishes Chayil contest by nomination a Detroit woman known for her good deeds and/or acts of kindness.
