YOUNG JEWISH ADULTS
ASSOCIATION (age 18-25) will

have a general membership meet-
ing at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the
Jimmy Prentis Morris Branch of
the Jewish Community Center.
The group will vote on its con-
stitution.
The group will have a Super
Bowl party Jan. 20 at the home of
Pam Zweigel, 238 N. Summit, Yp-
silanti. Carpools will leave at
noon from the Southfield Civic
Center tennis courts. There is a
fee, and non-members are invited.

COMMUNITY NETWORK
FOR JEWISH SINGLES an-

nounces its dinner club will go to
Szechuan Gardens on Jan. 21 at 7
p.m. There is a fee, and space is
limited. Paid reservations are due

The CNJS and Cong. Shaarey
Zedek will co-host a special Oneg
Shabbat and discussion on "As-
similation — The Vanishing
American Jew" at 8:30 p.m. Jan.
25 at Shaarey Zedek. Panelists
include Gary Katz, former co-
chairman for the Coordinating
Committee for Jewish Singles;
Marcia Fishman, executive direc-
tor of Hillel Day School; and Jef-
frey Howard, president of the
Young Adult Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation.
Rabbi Kenneth Cohen of
Shaarey Zedek will be the mod-
erator. Singles age 25-45 are in-
vited. Refreshments will be

The Chai Singles Ski Club of
the CNJS meets 9:45 a.m. Sun-
days at Beech Woods Golf Course,
Southfield, for cross-counrty ski-
ing. There is a charge.
The ski club will have a
weekend of downhill and/or

cross-country skiing at Boyne
Highlands Feb. 1-3. The fee in-
cludes accommodations at Harbor
Cove Condominiums, breakfasts,
refreshments and free use of
cross-country and nature trails.
Space is limited, and carpools will
