degree from Life Chiropractic Col-
lege West in San Lorenzo, Calif.
Dr. Behar earned his B.S. degree
from Michigan State University.
Dr. Behar is the son of Marcel

Edward Rose
A library for the people of
Ramla,.Detroit's Project Renewal
sister city in Israel, has been
made possible with a gift of
$100,000 from Edward and Lil-
lian Rose as an endorsement in
United Jewish Charities.
For Rose, a longtime Detroit
builder, this is the second oppor-
tunity to help Israel reach its goal
through Project Renewal of
educating thousands of immig-
rant youngsters. A high school in
the development town of Ofakim
also bears the Rose name.
The Edward and Lillian Rose
Library Fund will make possible
the establishment of a full-service
library of books, learning mate-
rial, computers and programs for
all ages. Further, the fund will
provide an ongoing source of in-
come to maintain the library.
The library is being created in
an existing building chosen by the
city of Ramla; staff and operations
also willhe provided by the Ramla
community.
