Wayne Feinstein

Wayne L. Feinstein, executive
vice president of the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation, will speak at
Temple Emanu-El Shabbat serv-
ices on Jan. 18 at 8:15 p.m.
On the 33rd anniversary of the
founding of Temple Emanu-el, the
congregation is taking part in
Campaign Sabbath, which high-
lights the services of the Jewish
Welfare Federation and its Allied
Jewish Campaign through their
60 local and worldwide be-
neficiaries.
Feinstein holds a master's de-
gree from Hebrew Union
College-Jewish Institute of Reli-
gion in Los Angeles. He has
traveled and studied in Israel.
Prior to joining Federation in
1982, he was director of campaign
planning for the Council of Jewish
Federations, for which he de-
veloped consultation programs to
improve community fund raising
and launched the department of
strategic/long-range planning.
