meets Tuesday

Owing to renovations at the
United Hebrew Schools building,
the Detroit Chapter of the Ameri-
can Technion Society has tempo-
rarily re-located its meeting site
to Cong. Beth Achim.
The chapter will meet at` Beth
Achim at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday,
when Prof. Chaim Mannheim will
speak on "Israel's Food Export In-
dustries."
Robert Brody, chairman, board
of directors of the chapter, will be
the moderator.
Prof. Mannheim, heads Techn-
ion's department of food engineer-
ing and biotechnology. He was
born in Germany and received his
education at the Technion in Is-

Jerry Thornton will speak on
"The University of Michigan Map
Room and Its Sources." He will
discuss how maps can be an aid to
genealogical research. .
