Nir Basse twinned the obser-
vance of his bar mitzvah celebra-
tion at Adat Shalom Synagogue
on Dec. 15 with Robert Efremov,
the son of Mikhail and Elza Ef-
remov of Grozny, USSR.
Efremov is a plumber and his
wife a dressmaker. The date of
their first application was April
1979. They were refused in No-
vember 1979 and have been re-
peatedly refused but reasons are
unknown.
Efremov's sister has been living
in Israel since December 1979.
