Soon after, the Gordons in- creased their woodland to a forest of 10,000 trees. In October 1979, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon were scheduled to go to Israel for the dedication when Gordon became ill and their trip was canceled. Health reasons have kept them from traveling to Israel since that time. Dr. and Mrs. Norman and Mari- lyn Schakne, their son-in-law and daughter, have just recently re- turned from Israel where they dedicated the Hy and Yetta Gor- . don Family Forest.
