This is the third year that Greenberg, an associate of the Bernard Alter Agency of Farmington Hills, has exceeded the $2 million figure for Lutheran Mutual Life. Greenberg joined the company in 1981. LOCAL NEWS Dow gives $1 million for transplant education - • HAMILTON PLACE ATHLETIC & SOCIAL CLUB 30333 Southfield Rd. (Between 12 8,13 Mile Rds.) The American Council on Transplantation has been awarded a $1 million grant from the Dow Chemical Co. to establish a national education program on organ donation and transplanta- tion. Former Detroiter Dr. Gary Friedlaender of Yale University is president of the council, which he helped found last year. Dr. Friedlaender said that the organ- ization's goal is to increase the American public's understanding of transplantation and to show persons "how they can get person- ally involved to improve or pro- long another person's life."Dr. Friedlaender is professor and chief of orthopedic surgery at Yale Univesity School of Medicine.
