Dec. 6. He leaves his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Ken (Rita) Abramson; a
brother, Jeffrey; and his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ber-
nard (Ruth) Abramson of Boca
Raton, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Ar-
thur (Muriel) Sofferin.

BETTY COHEN, 73, died Dec. 9.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs.
Marvin (Deena) Rosen and Mrs.
Howard (Sheila) Dubin; two sis-
ters, Mrs. Esther Engelberg of
Sunrise, Fla. and Mrs. Sam (Jean)
Goren; 12 grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.

JUNE COLTON, 64, of South-
field, died Dec. 6. Survived by two
sons, Michael and Kenneth; her
mother, Mrs. Dorothy Brezner;
and one grandson.

LENA CRAIS, 81, of Oak Park,
died Dec. 9. Survived by her hus-
band, Louis H.; two sons, Leon J.
of Ballwin, Mo. and Jack S.; a sis-
ter, Mrs. Max (Ethel) Reisman;
four grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.

BETTY DISKIN, 73, of Oak
Park, died Dec. 9. Survived by her
husband, Alexander; three sons,
Dr. Richard of Oregon, Ohio,
Philip and Lawrence; a brother,
Abe Maius; a sister, Mrs. Belle
Rebeck; nine grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.

MINNIE ENGEL, 89, of South-
field, died Dec. 9. Survived by four
brothers, Sam, Arthur, Erwin and
Max K-ornwise; and two sisters,
Mrs. Helen Elford and Mollie
Kornwise.

AARON M. FINKELSTEIN, 75,
died Dec. 6. He leaves his wife,
Helen; a son, Sanford of Buffalo
Grove, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs.
Joel (Linda) Willens and Mrs.
Teddy (Alice) Freund; a brother,
Arthur Finkelstein of San Diego,
Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Berg of
San Diego, Calif.; and six
grandchildren.

HANNA GAJDA, 60, died Dec.
10. She leaves her husband,
Joseph; a son, James; two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Michael (Genevive)
Renna of Syracuse, N.Y. and Mrs.
Paul (Elizabeth) Jarosh of Old
Bridge, N.J.; and two
grandchildren.

Park, died Dec. 9. Survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Murray (Renata)
Freed and Mrs. Hanna Lambert; a
brother, Julius Katz of Haifa, Is-

great-grandchild.

MITCHELL GUBKIN, 20,
former Detroiter of Cleveland
Heights, Ohio, died Dec. 2. He
leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Jack (Molly) Gubkin of Cleveland
Heights; four brothers, Jan of
Southfield, David of the Bronx,
N.Y., Michael, and Marc of Col-
umbus, Ohio. Interment Cleve-
land.

ROSE HALPERIN, 90, of De-
troit, died Dec. 11. Survived by
two sons, Rubin and Max M.; a

daughter, Mrs. Louis G. (Rose)
Lux; a brother, Jack Bakalar; and
three sisters, Mrs. Leah Berman,
Mrs. Esther Weingart and Mrs.
Ben (Rose) Shaffer.

ABRAHAM CARL JACOB-
SON, 87, of Southfield, died Dec.
10. Survived by three sons, Lenn
of Forest Hills, N.Y., Bruce of
Southfield, and Irving of Wattin-
gers Falls, N.Y.; two daughters,
Mrs. Ann Hirsch of Balacynwyn,
Pa., and Mrs. Robert (Dihanna)
Parsky of Philadelphia, Pa.; and
eight grandchildren. Interment
Philadelphia.

SARAH KATSER, 69, died Dec.
10. She leaves her husband, Sol;
two sisters, Mrs. Al (Jean) Re-
snick of Florida and Mrs. Leo (Lil-
lian) Whitman of Miami, Fla.
Interment Miami.

FRANCES KATZMAN, 74, of
Windsor, Ontario, Canada, died
Dec. 2. She leaves her husband,
Aaron; two sons, Fred of Windsor
and Ivan of Chatham; a daughter,
Mrs. Susan Dean of London, Ont.;
four sisters, Mrs. Rose Kravets of
Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Bert Schom-
berger of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Libby
Taylor of California and Mrs.
Edith Schwartz of Chicago; and
four grandchildren.

MAE KELLEY (Rosenshine),
82, died Dec. 11. She leaves nieces
and nephews.

JEAN KORMAN, 84, of Oak
Park, died Dec. 9. Survived by a
son, Martin E.; two daughters,
Mrs. David (Shirley) Rozenberg of
Oak Park and Mrs. Henry
(Esther) Misle of Lincoln, Neb.; 10
grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren.

SARAH LEWIN, 86, died Dec. 8.
She leaves two sons, Robert and

MARTIN MOORE, 44, died Dec.
11. He leaves his wife, Adrienne; a
daughter, Gayle; his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. George (Mollie) Moore;
and a brother, Ronald.

(Leibovich), 83, of Toledo, Ohio,
died Dec. 9. Survived by three
daughters, Mrs. Harry (Claire)
Schall of Toledo, Mrs. Simon
(Ann) Kaplan of Oak Park and
Mrs. Sydney (Barbara) Geller of
Southfield; 14 grandchildren and
eight great-grandchildren.
Interment Toledo.

JENNIE SAMSKY, 98, of De-
troit, died Dec. 7. Survived by four
sons, Abraham and Benjamin of
El Paso, Texas, Morris and Isaac;
seven grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.

JACK SCHWARTZ, 92, of
Southfield, died Dec. 10. Survived
by a son Seymour M.; a daughter,
Mrs. Florence Gorelick; two sis-
ters, Mrs. Henrietta Lillian of
Swampscott, Mass. and Mrs. Ada
Bernstein of Sunrise, Fla.; six
grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.

VICTOR SHAPIRO, 71, of
Galesburg, Mich., died Dec. 8.
Survived by four brothers, Louis
and Raymond, both of Boca Raton,
Fla., and Joseph and Jack.
